“You cannot let the weight of this world outshine the light you carry within” – Mary
Set in Jerusalem, ten years after The Passion of her Son, Mary is living out her final earthly days contemplating the incredible mystery of her life. Accompanied by her young maidservant Zara, she quietly awaits the return of the “rock”, the one her Son placed as responsible for the Christian people- Peter. Arriving to Mary’s home after ten long years of traveling, preaching and fleeing from death, Peter feels the overwhelming responsibility and helplessness in front of the great task he was given. Spending days with Mary, recounting what happened to both their lives after meeting Christ, Peter slowly discovers that he is not leading the Church, but following what Jesus had begun.

“Full of Grace: The Story of Mary of Nazareth” is a story about Mary, the mother of Jesus, and her last days on Earth. We are not sure what possible historical texts this story is based on, but the character of Mary is consistent with that of the Mary in the Bible. She is presented as humble and kind. She thinks back to Jesus’s life and shares various teachings and events that involved her son, as Peter and John and Jesus’ other followers related to her.
We award this film our Faith Friendly Seal for all ages. This faith-based movie features wonderful scenery and solid acting.
